If you are going to hit links, don't tee off without being properly equipped to play one of the most popular games in the world. Did you know that you can improve your game and your lower score by putting instead of practicing with your driver for long-distance shots? You can be a better golfer and feel more comfortable if you get a good putter. As a trial and error process, you have to experiment before you pick up the right putter. Acquiring the right putter is a strong decision that you have to make regarding the clubs in your golf bag.

DISCOVER THE SECRETS OF GOLF PROS
There are many golf equipment retail stores and golf pro shops where you can familiarize yourself with a variety of putters. They are also made out of different types of materials ranging from brass and aluminum to stainless steel. You will discover that another important factor to be considered is the putter head shape. There are two kinds of putter head shapes, namely, the blade or the mallet. You will also find golfers of different skill levels using putters with either the blade or the mallet head shapes.
When you begin to learn the differences between each putter, you will find that the blade putter almost resembles a small hockey stick. The blade putters have various designs besides the solid flat blade and the cavity-back designs that keep the putter head steady and straight when it comes into contact with the golf ball. The mallet putter has a larger and more round head with the weight being distributed through the putter for a more consistent stroke.
As you explore the nuances of golf and golfing equipment, you will learn the intricacies and the enjoyment of playing the game of winners. When you choose your putter, only you can decide about your choice and which kind of golfing equipment suits you best. Though you can go along with advice from golf pro, it is still a matter of individual taste as to which putter matches your skills and style.

Testimonials
Here are some real-world examples of people who have achieved improvement in Golf by using the Interlink Golf Systems' DVD lessons.
I’m 48 years old and I’ve been playing golf all my life and consider myself to be a good athlete. I’d go out and hit some great shots and then hit some terrible shots. It didn’t look that bad, but at the end of the round I’d have a 105 and my friends would be in the 80’s. That extra shot a hole was just sloppiness and lack of technique. I got tired of being the worst golfer in my circle of friends as I knew I was in better shape than any of them. I bought the DVD series and finally figured out how to hit the ball with accuracy. This 10 degree swing secret really works. I put that together with the IGS non-release swing and I blew away my friends the first time out. I shot an 85, the best round of my life and now I’m thinking about breaking 70. Trust me on this, the IGS DVD series really helped my game and it should work for you too!' R. McNamara, San Diego, CA

November 2007 Newsletter

Swing Your Way To Success
Want to join the swinging success gang? Inspired by one of the most interesting games in the world? Has playing golf been your dream? Then you are on your way to where the grass is greener. It’s time to tee off on the course. But wait...are you properly equipped with the right golf gear?
Every sport requires the right equipment and accessories. To begin with, you need golf balls. Do you know why golf balls are dimpled? They are designed that way because they will go further when driven by a golf club. The golf club is also called the golf ball driver. They come under various categories with different names like irons, woods and putters. Irons are used on rough terrain or over trees with the high-loft irons called wedges. Woods are clubs that are used to hit the ball from a big distance. Putters are crafted to drive the ball on the grass towards the cup.
For more information on golf equipments and accessories visit www.revelgolf.com.
Feel The Rhythm Of Golf
A professional golfer also needs a golf bag. Golf bags come in handy not only to carry your clubs, but also to hold golf balls and accessories, your water bottle, an extra shirt and shoes. Golf clubs also need protection like a golf club cover to protect it from dents and scratches. If your club is dented, then it will affect your game and the drive of the golf ball.
Now it’s time to come down to the nitty gritty. Concentrate on getting yourself a good pair of golf shoes. Remember that you have to walk long distances on the course. Golf shoes invariably have spikes to grip the sand and give you a good solid stance without your body moving or swaying. If your body moves in the wrong direction, then you can miss the ball or hit it in the wrong direction. Golf is a game of accuracy and precision and that is why you have to be equipped sensibly to make the right moves that will help in concentrating on the game.
It is important to wear the right type of apparel and headgear. The modern day golf accessory companies offer men, women and juniors a host of accessories including golf rags or towels and golf jewelry! Of course it is most convenient to have golf accessories at our fingertips, but the most convenient of them all is the golf cart. Golf carts hold all your equipment and are comfortable to travel from one hole to another, though they are not allowed on the greens. It really does beat walking in the hot sun and gives you the energy to play another round of golf.

Testimonials
Here are some real-world examples of people who have achieved improvement in Golf by using the Interlink Golf Systems' DVD lessons.
“The DVD's are surprising. They have the best explanations for the correct grip and clubhead release I have ever seen or heard. I tried a couple of the drills on the driving range and saw very good results. I’m going to follow the instruction and then go out to the course. Every pro and low handicapper always said I had a ‘nice’ swing but I rarely break 90 and struggle to get in the 90’s with no explanation. At least now I know it isn’t the grip, the stance or all the other claptrap it’s keeping my upper and lower body in sync. You can’t solve a problem that you haven’t identified. I’m counting on this instruction to get me into the 80's consistently.”
Thank You,
Tony Tartaglia, Waynesboro PA

Golf tip of the month
Does your game need a little help? No matter how good a golfer you are, you can use a good tip now and then
Steady Eyes for Solid Putting
The fundamental rule in golf is to keep the body and head still while putting. But just 'keeping still' doesn't work. The key is to keep your eyes still during the stroke, then the body and head will naturally remain quiet. To accomplish this, look at the grass that was under the ball after the stroke has been made. In this way, you make a positive move to keep the eyes over the ball until it is already moving toward the hole.
